The ACI/EPC converts an analog input signal into a proportional pneumatic output . The output pressure ranges are jumper selectable for 0-10, 0-15 and 0-20 psi and are adjustable in all ranges. The EPC will automatically modulate its' control valve to control the branch line pressure to the selected setpoint as determined by the input signal. The input signal may be either a 0 to 5, 0 to 10, 0 to 15,VDC or a 4 to 20 mA signal.

Another notable feature of the EPC is that it has an adjustable, manual override potentiometer that can be used to increase or decrease the pneumatic output. A manual override feedback signal of a N/O dry contact rated for 1A @ 24 VAC/DC is also available on all of the EPC units. An LED is also supplied for power indication. All EPC's contain a 0 to 5VDC feedback signal that may be used to monitor the branch line pressure.

Both the EPC2 and EPC2FS incorporate two valves and are not constant bleed controls. Their branch exhaust flow and response times are similar to its load rate. For optimum operation it is recommended to have a branch line with a minimum 25 feet of 1/4" O.D. tubing. 

If power is lost to the EPC2, it will not exhaust any additional air from the branch line as long as there is not a leak. Whereas the EPC and EPC2FS will bleed air until the branch line pressure is equal to 0 PSI.
