The A/DIFF-ENT Series are low cost Enthalpy controllers that measure both temperature and humidity and converts them into a sourced relay output. The supply voltage to the A//DIFF-ENT is common to both the N/O or N/C contacts of the 10A Form 1C Relay. The relay is controlled or switched by selecting the proper mode switch within the unit.
The Advanced Ceramic Technology overcomes the limitations of other resistance-based humidity sensors that utilize water-soluble polymer coatings. This technology enables these sensors to fully recover from condensation and enables the sensor to maintain its accuracy over time.
Despite its accuracy, the Advanced Ceramic Technology sensor and related circuitry is economical. The A/DIFF-ENT is calibrated using a NIST Traceable temperature and humidity controlled environmental chamber. Factory selectable calibration can be achieved for elevations of 1000, 3000, 5000, 7000, and 9000, or 11000 feet. Use reverse action in the A/DIFF-ENT unit to change the NO/NC switch action.
Each unit in this series features a conformally coated circuit boards and jumper selectable elevation settings.
(Typically used in conjunction with the A/DIFF-ENT, the A/ENT converts a capacitive type humidity sensor into a linear 2-wire, 4 to 20 mA output. Its signal is proportional to a scale of 0 to 50 BTU’s and is geared towards OEMs of economizers and other devices that require an enthalpy input)
